34. Storyboard Of Ideas

To show my ideas, I decided to create a storyboard to visually see what I wanted to create. This means its easy to see what I need to do and what shots I aim to use.

  1. Pan of football field and surroundings into a close up shot of the individual holding a football, establishing the key elements of what the video will be about to begin with. The model lip syncs the opening verse of the song, creating the connection with the song and the audience.
  2. Long shot of the phone, zoomed in gradually to create a close up, showing the message and the importance of the text.
  3. Close up shot of pictures indicating memories, high angle of pictures falling on the floor.
  4. Mid shot, close up, and low angles, with over the shoulder shots, showing individual running through the woods.
  5. Long shot to begin with, to establish the new setting and then a close up individual to show the emotional and feeling.
  6. Close up and extreme close up used to show the setting again once more and close up showing individuals emotion again, lip sync of section of song.
  7. Extreme close up and close ups, all showing the emotion, relating to the song and the ballad. Lip sync of section of song.
  8. Close up, lip sync of section, dominant section.
  9. Long shot/establishing shot of individual with prominant signs, quick editing used to match the tempo of song and show the key elements.
  10. Long shots and high angles used, tracking the individual.
  11. Lip sync key elements of the song again.
  12. Same shots and filming as number 5 but backwards, then lip sync.
  13. Close up shot of cars flying past in the dark, quick editing, fast forward representing move to the future.

15. Flashback from the beginning again, same shot, using close up and zoom, showing the point they suggested at the beginning.
16. Same shot used at the beginning, but showing the success of the individual.
l7. Finishing with lip sync of dominant lyrics.
